San Andreas, CA — Two Sonora residents suffered minor injuries Monday morning when their vehicle failed to negotiate a curve on Sheep Ranch Rd. south of Gold Mountain Rd.

According to the C.H.P., 41 year old Clarence Simpson´s 1991 Chevy S-10 traveled off the edge of the roadway due to wet pavement, collided with a fence and then overturned onto its right side in a creek bed.

Simpson did not require medical care, but his two passengers, 40 year old Lori Newels and 12 year old Gail Sasser, were transported by American Legion 108 to Mark Twain-St. Joseph´s Hospital in San Andreas.
