Twain Harte, Ca — Beginning Friday, a local organization will begin putting together an 8 foot tall Christmas tree in Twain Harte.
Unlike the traditional style that is grown out of the ground, this Christmas tree will be built out of canned food items. It´s part of an annual food drive sponsored by the Tuolumne County Association of Realtors.
Betsy Hurst-Younger says the tree will be set up outside the Twain Harte Market. She says the drive will run through January 3rd, and the food will go to Interfaith.
They are hoping to collect at least 20,000 foot items.
