County Planner Bids Adieu

San Andreas, CA — John Andersen, a senior planner for Calaveras County Planning Department, is retiring and was celebrated Monday by the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors.
The board passed a resolution recognizing Andersen for his years of service to the county.
Andersen lives in Sonora with his wife Diane. He also has a part time surveying business in Sonora and is on the Sonora Planning Commission.
Andersen says he may stay on as a consultant with the county.
