Fire Threatens Rialto Housing

Rialto, CA — Fierce winds blasting out of the Cajon Pass are pushing flames across brushy fields toward housing tracts in Rialto.

This marks still another southern California wildfire gaining momentum thanks to fall Santa Ana wind conditions.

50 acres have burned so far. Flames have overtaken an industrial area where pallets and tires have been incinerated.

The blaze is perilously close to a tract of luxury homes and the Rancho Verde Country Club.
