Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department is continuing its investigation into two Turlock residents who were arrested Thursday evening on Morris Grade and Tuolumne Rd.
Corporal Kelly Dickson was on his way home when he spotted a 1998 Ford in front of him. He ran the license plate and learned that the car´s registration had expired even though the stickers on the license plate were current.
The driver, 39 year old Steven Anthony Mihalovic, had an outstanding warrant for spousal abuse. Also in the vehicle was 46 year old Kimberly Rene Ray who had on her person a glass meth smoking pipe and a small quantity of methamphetamine.
Also discovered in the vehicle were credit cards, money orders, and i.d.´s belonging to elderly individuals in the Turlock area.
Both subjects showed prior convictions for theft. Mihalovic and Ray were booked into the county jail.
