Two Arrested For Fighting While Intoxicated
Jamestown, CA — 46 year old Barbara Leona Murray of Jamestown and 27 year old Julianne Borelli of Sonora were arrested Monday evening during the ten o´clock hour for fighting while extremely intoxicated in the middle of 9th Street in Jamestown.
Both resisted initial arrest efforts. While Murray was fighting with Deputy Dan Graziose who was trying to handcuff her, Borelli ran from the scene. Deputy Rich Champlin was able to capture Borelli following a short foot pursuit.
Once Murray was handcuffed and positioned in the back seat of a patrol unit, she proceeded to start kicking and banging her head on the side window. She eventually gained control of herself and was booked into the county jail without further incident on a charge of being drunk in public.
Borelli was transported to the County Jail in a separate patrol unit and also booked for being drunk in public.
Both were subsequently released and given a court date to appear to face their respective charges.
