Friends Of The Library Week

San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County´s libraries are supported by a very special group of people known as the Friends of the Library.
This nationwide group helps with fundraising and support activities. Locally they provide extended hours, Internet access, photocopiers, and support to programs such as tutoring.
Monday the Calaveras Board of Supervisors passed a resolution proclaiming this week as Friends of the Libraries Week and recognized the local friends for their efforts.
