Sonora, CA– Two young adults, face separate charges after a night with minors got out of hand.

Sunday evening, the Sonora Police Department was dispatched to the Kids Park/Skate Park on Greenly Road regarding load music and found a 1999 Saturn near the skate park. Officials say 21-year-old Eric Pina of Sonora and 19-year-old Frankie Hernandez of Jamestown were inside the vehicle along with four juveniles.

Reports indicate officers found 12 plastic bags containing marijuana, two open beer cans and two glass smoking pipes in the vehicle as well. The bags appeared to be packaged for sales purposes.

While interviewing one of the female juveniles, one officer learned Pina had been having sexual intercourse with her. He was booked for unlawful intercourse with a minor. Officers were also able to determine who the marijuana belonged to.

Two of the juveniles were transported to the Tuolumne County Probation Department for possession of marijuana for sale, transportation of marijuana, and minor in possession of alcohol. The other two were released to their parents. Hernandez was booked for public intoxication.
