Motorcycle Chase Ends In One Arrest

Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Sheriff´s deputies are on the lookout for an un-named 32 year old caucasion male for felony reckless driving, evading arrest and driving with a suspended license.

Just before midnight last night, deputies attempted to stop a motorcycle on Gunsight Rd. in the Big Hill area. The bike, with a male driver and female passenger, initially pulled over and then accelerated away from deputies. The driver eventually crashed at the bottom of a steep embankment and then fled the scene.

His accomplice, 27 year old Gina Lucille Cook, was found to have several outstanding bench warrants for her arrest. When she was searched at the County Jail, she was found to have two small baggies of methamphetamine and a smoking pipe. She was booked on possession charges with no bail.

The driver has been identified, but his name is being withheld pending further investigation.
