San Andreas, CA — A San Jose resident has been hospitalized in Modesto with major injuries following a Tuesday afternoon motorcycle accident on Hwy 4 west of Big Trees Park near Arnold.
The C.H.P. reports that Richard Halliday was traveling westbound when he attempted to pass a truck-trailer combination over a double yellow line. Halliday lost control of his Honda motorcycle and collided with the dirt embankment south of the road edge. He continued in a westerly direction for approximately 100 feet. Halliday´s bike came to rest partially within the eastbound lane.
