Sausalito Resident Jailed For Mother Lode D.U.I.

San Andreas, CA — Still another drunk driver has been arrested in the Mother Lode.
53 year old Karl Bodmer of Sausalito was driving his 1998 Ford Explorer at 12:15 Sunday morning when he observed a deer in the roadway on Hwy 4 east of Stallion Way.
According to the C.H.P., because of his intoxication, he failed to maintain control of his vehicle and proceeded to run off the roadway colliding with a rock embankment.
He was booked into the Calaveras County Jail on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
