C.H.P. Hosts “Start Smart” In Jamestown
Jamestown, CA — The Sonora area C.H.P. office hosted its initial Start Smart program Wednesday evening for prospective drivers and their parents.
Officer Tom Wills says it was an extremely emotional evening due to a video taped presentation of a Sacramento mother who lost her daughter in an automobile accident. Two other Lincoln High School students died in that accident.
Wills adds it´s important for teens and their parents to attend the class together so everybody is on the same page when it comes to driving responsibilities and rules of the road.
The second Sonora area Start Smart meeting is set for Thursday, November 16th. For reservations, call 984-3944.
