Supervisors Set For Final September Meeting

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will hold its final weekly meeting of the month today at the County Administration Center.

Items on today´s agenda include consideration of approving the Tuolumne Public Power Agency to file two protest applications to the State Water Resources Control Board on two applications to appropriate water from the Stanislaus River by the East Stockton Water District. The county will also file similar protest applications.

The Board will also consider approving the addition of one permanent full-time library assistant.

Acting Sheriff Lee Sanford will ask the Board to consider declaring a local state of emergency due to the department´s staffing crisis.

At 10:30am there will be a public hearing to consider adoption of the Pine Mountain Lake Airport Plan and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) mitigated negative declaration.

At 1:30pm the Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau Annual Report on year-end financial statements will be presented.
