Pair Arrested For Public Intoxication

Sonora, CA — 22 year old Kent William Zierenberg of Groveland and 22 year old Samuel Frederick Giambrone of Hayward were arrested Saturday afternoon by Tuolumne County sheriffs deputies for public intoxication and cited for reckless use of weapons.
Deputies were dispatched to the Gookin Ranch area on Boitano Rd. in Groveland. According to reports the pair was trespassing and shooting rifles with disregard for the safety of others.
Deputies searched the area and discovered the two rifles and two handguns. Both suspects were transported to the county jail but were eventually released on their promises to appear in court.
