Salary Boost For Future Calaveras Planner

San Andreas, CA — After three unsuccessful recruitments, Calaveras County is upping the ante in the hopes of getting a qualified planner.
The Board of Supervisors Monday approved offering planner candidate Winifred Wilson the position at a Step E pay grade. The planner III position was budgeted for Step A.
Human Resources Director Francine Osborn says previous recruitments produced qualified candidates, but job offers were declined due to salary issues.
Osborn admits, the high placement is unusual, but warranted since the position is tremendously needed.
