BLM Releases Draft Sierra Plan

San Andreas, CA — A public comment period is now open for the Sierra Management Plan.
The Bureau of Land Management has released a draft of the plan, which provides direction for lands within the Folsom Field Office, including lands in Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.
The plan addresses issues such as wildfire, recreation and motorized vehicle access.
Copies are available online at www.blm.gov/ca/folsom. Comments will be accepted through December 13.
Public meetings are set for October in Grass Valley, Mariposa, Sonora and Placerville.
