2006 Natural Resources Summit Friday

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — Hundreds of Mother Lode residents are expected to participate in Assemblyman Dave Cogdill and TuCARE´s 2006 Natural Resources Summit Friday at the Fairgrounds in Sonora.

TuCARE stands for, Tuolumne County Alliance for Resourses and Environment, and registration for the event begins at 8:30am.

Organizers say Assemblyman Cogdill will be speaking at the four hour event, which will feature several public information tables regarding Master Gardeners, weeds, solar power, and much more.

Immediately following the summit, two buses will leave the fairgrounds to start an eight hour tour that will focus on forest management. This tour has been organized by Assemblyman Cogdill´s office.

Although the events are free to the public, the more than 90 seats on the tour buses are already full. Because of the overwhelming interest in the tour, another one has been scheduled for October 20th.
