Angels Camp, CA — As a quarterback, David Frazier was a local star on the Bret Harte High School football team.

The 44-year-old was driving through Mount Shasta last week to bring his new bride Deborah home to meet the family in Angels Camp.

Frazier had a heart attack while driving and ran off the road and hit a tree. Frazier died and his wife survived the crash.

Frazier lived in Redmond, Oregon and ran a flooring company with his brother Paul. He is survived by an 18-year-old son Justin of Austin, Texas.

Services are set for 1 p.m. this Saturday at the Angels Memorial Chapel in Angels Camp.
