Four Teens Arrested At New Hogan Reservoir
Valley Springs, CA — Four teenagers in a suspicious vehicle were arrested today at a lookout point at New Hogan Reservoir.
At around 4:30 this morning, Calaveras County Sheriff´s Deputies found what it called a suspicious vehicle with five people in it.
26-year-old Rene Ruby Berry of Valley Springs was in the car with four teenagers ranging in age from 15 to 17 years old. One of the teens was from Manteca. The rest were from Valley Springs.
The deputies noticed an item containing methamphetamine.
Upon further investigation, Berry and three of the teenagers were arrested for charges ranging from possession of a controlled substance, destruction of evidence and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The fifth subject was arrested for a warrant and giving false information to a peace officer.
The case has been sent to the District Attorney´s Office and the Probation Department.
