Deceased Accident Victim Identified

Sonora, CA — Late Saturday evening an unidentified 53 year old male from Jupiter, driving a 1980 Datsun, was northbound on U.S. Forest Service Road 3N69Y when for an unknown reason he ran off the roadway edge and went over the embankment, struck a tree and came to rest in a dry stream bed approximately 100 feet from the road.
Now that the next of kin has ben identified, the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department has identified the victim as Alfred Joseph Ramirez. The cause of death has been listed as a heart attack.
