Tuolumne County Library Offers Homework Help

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA– Students who have struggled tirelessly on homework assignments may see an end to the long hours of frustration.

The Tuolumne County Library is creating a way for students from 4th grade to the college introduction level to get free homework help. Supervising Librarian Christine Greenberger says the free service allows students to get help from a professional tutor by simply logging on to the library´s web site and then clicking on the Live Homework Help link.

Greenberger says the program helps students in the subjects of math, science, English, and social science. Those who need computer access can go to any branch of the library, locations are in Sonora, Groveland, Tuolumne, Twain Harte, and Mi Wuk.

A grant from the California State Library made it possible to begin the program for the first year, but the library will be expected to take over the funding eventually. For more information call the Library at 533-5507.
