West Calaveras Subdivision Delayed Yet Again

Wallace, CA — A 124-home subdivision proposed in the community of Wallace has been delayed again at the Calaveras County Planning Commission.
Developer John Reynen of Sacramento is proposing to build the project, which would make up the second phase of the already established subdivision.
The commission met Thursday to hear the project but the matter was continued.
Planning Department Director Bob Sellman says the project was continued because staff and the developer are still trying to work out issues relative to the project, in addition to some water issues.
The project was continued once before to clear up some environmental issues.
