Man Arrested After Accident With Parked Car

San Andreas, CA — 43-year-old James Hartell of Carmichael is under arrest after colliding into a parked car near San Andreas Tuesday.
Hartell was driving a Ford Thunderbird westbound on Highway 12 from Highway 49 at around 10 a.m.
The CHP says Hartell was driving at approximately 60 miles per hour when he ran off the road behind a legally parked Chevrolet Silverado. CHP says Hartell tried to stop but couldn´t due to his extreme intoxication and speed. Hartell´s car struck the rear end of the Chevy.
No one was injured.
Hartell failed sobriety tests on the scene and was transported and booked into county jail.
