Family Involved In Valley Springs Collision

Valley Springs, CA — It was a scary incident for all involved during a vehicle accident on Highway 12 Monday.
Albert Araujo of Burson and his passenger 23-year-old Ben Silva of Massachusetts were exiting the MarVal parking lot onto Highway 12 in a 2006 Ford.
Araujo did not see the Campbell family approaching in a 2002 Mitsubishi and pulled directly into their path.
Veronica Campbell´s car hit Araujo´s vehicle broadside and then overturned.
6-year old Ryan Campbell and 8-year-old Hayden Campbell were taken to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. Both were treated and released.
Araujo and his passenger were also taken to two different area hospitals and have been released.
