Counterfeiters Arrested At Black Oak Casino

Tuolumne City, CA — Six non-Mother Lode residents have been jailed after passing counterfeit bills at the Black Oak Casino early Wednesday morning.

Sgt. Matt Zelinsky of the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department reports Tribal Security contacted the Sheriff´s Department to report the suspects were passing counterfeit $100 bills at casino games. Security recognized the subjects as the same subjects that had passed approximately $1,500 worth of counterfeit bills the previous week but went undetected until after they had left Black Oak. The six individuals were also in possession of drug papaphernalia and fake identification.

The six have been identified as 34 year old Randall James Denos of Stockton, 27 year old Miguel Simental of Stockton, 26 year old Moses Jorge Garcia of Stockton, 26 year old Moses Orozco of Ceres, 27 year old Rachel Stephanie Gallardo of Morgan Hill and 25 year old Michael Lynn Grissom of Modesto.

All six were booked into the Tuolumne County Jail on charges of possession of counterfeit bills, forgery, possession of stolen property, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a stolen vehicle, conspiracy and resisting arrest.

The Sheriff´s Department reports the investigation is continuing.
