Recreational Vehicle Totally Destroyed

Sonora, CA — C.D.F. officials report a recreational vehicle owned by Laurie Martinez of Modesto was totally destroyed in a Friday afternoon fire on Hwy 49 between Rawhide and Tuttletown.

Martinez told C.D.F. officials she heard a loud pop prior to the outset of the fire.

The vehicle was valued at $16,000 while personal contents totaled $5,000.

The fire caused an extensive delay for the Friday afternoon traffic on Hwy 49.
