As I understand it, in order to pass (or repeal) a law in the U.S.A. you have to pass it by majority vote in the House AND the Senate and then the President has to sign the bill into law. If you can’t get enough votes or the President doesn’t sign the bill, then you lose. Like it or not, there are not enough votes to repeal the ACA. So those opposed lose. You can’t make people agree with you. They get to vote how they want. If they are wrong, they are wrong. You still lose. Seriously. Grow up. The GOP lost on this one.
To our Representative: Do your job. Keep the government open and running. Respect the Constitution. Let everyone vote. As I understand it, the House leadership won’t LET the House vote on a “Clean” funding bill. Change the leadership. Just because you get elected doesn’t mean you get your way.
