Weight Loss Surgery Support Group to Meet Monthly in 2017

Sonora, CA —Sonora Regional Medical Center is hosting a monthly Weight Loss Surgery support group for individuals who have had bariatric surgery or who are considering bariatric surgery. The group will meet once per month to provide ongoing support, encouragement and education to succeed in lifestyle changes after surgery. Discussions and topics will include diet, exercise and social support in a safe, fun and friendly environment. Guest speakers will be invited to speak on a variety of topics. Friends and family are also invited to attend.

The Weight Loss Surgery Support Group will meet on the third Friday of each month from 5 to 6 p.m. in Conference Room 3 at Sonora Regional Medical Center. For more information and to RSVP, contact Melanie Evans, RD, CDE at 209-536-5041 or EvansM1@ah.org.
