Sleep Medicine Physician Now Accepting Patients in Sonora

Sonora, CA – Adventist Health Sonora is pleased to welcome Dr. Naeem Rana, M.D., FCCP, to Sierra Pulmonology Clinic. Dr. Rana is a sleep medicine specialist with extensive training and experience and a passion for helping people with sleep disorders gain a better quality of life through better sleep.

Dr. Rana is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care, sleep medicine and neuro-critical care and has been practicing pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine for nearly 20 years.

In addition to providing patient care at Sierra Pulmonology Clinic, Dr. Rana also serves as the medical director for Mother Lode Sleep Center and interprets sleep studies, diagnosing sleep disorders and providing recommendations for treatment.

A few of the conditions that Dr. Rana treats include snoring; sleep apnea, a disorder in which there are repeated pauses in breathing during sleep; hypersomnia, such as narcolepsy; and parasomnias, such as sleep walking. Dr. Rana works closely with each patient’s primary care provider, helping patients comply with their treatment plan and achieve the best outcomes.
