Restoring The Rim Fire Burn Area

Some new grants are helping to improve the landscape which was burned in the 2013 Rim Fire. Charring 257,314 acres, it is the largest recorded fire ever in Tuolumne County. Mother Lode Views featured Rim Fire Restoration Coordinator Maria Benech and Forest Service Biologist Marcie Baumbach.
