MenuMean Lew’s BBQ is a husband-and-wife-owned restaurant built on a love of good food and our hometown community. We were both born and raised in Sonora, California, and we’re proud to share our barbecue with the place we call home.
Our journey started in February 2025 with a food truck and a dream. By October 2025, that dream had grown into a restaurant located between Soulsbyville and Crystal Falls near the outpost gas station.
We make everything from scratch and cook over local black oak, bringing smoky flavor to every meal. Our menu features barbecue favorites like pork ribs, beef ribs, pulled pork, and chicken, along with plenty of delicious sides.
We also offer a new special menu every week! Depending on when you visit, you might find loaded nachos, specialty salads, Armadillo Eggs, Dinosaur Beef Ribs, or another dish we’ve created for the weekend.
As a local husband-and-wife team, we love serving our community and welcoming new guests. Whether you’ve lived here all your life or are just passing through, we invite you to come hungry and enjoy some scratch-made barbecue.
