While the rest of the country is seeing lower energy costs due to plentiful natural gas from fracking, California has seen rates jump by 25% since 2013 and are twice as high nearby Washington State. And now Sacramento has one-upped Governor Brown by mandating 100% of California’s energy be generated from unreliable and hard to store renewables like solar and wind. Two questions: Why?
