There will be a Young Eagle Rally providing free airplane rides for children age 8 thru 17 for a free 30-minute flight on April 23rd, 2022 from 9am to noon at the Columbia Airport Terminal building. It’s a great introduction to aviation and an opportunity to meet local pilots. Flights are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Each flight is about 20 minutes. A parent or guardian must bring the child to the airport and provide authorization. Bring a camera, prepare for a great time, and lots of smiles! Young Eagle Rallies are sponsored by EAA and our local chapter 1337.
Parents or guardians must attend and sign a liability release. Parents can register at youngeaglesday.org
