Yellow-billed Magpies will be the subject of a presentation by Dan Airola, wildlife biologiist and ornithologist, at the Wednesday, Feb. 15, gathering of the Central Sierra Audubon Society (CSAS). The 7 p.m. meeting at the Tuolumne County Library community room, 480 Greenley Road, Sonora, is open to any interested members of the community. The presentation also will be carried on Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/847433130988). Airola conducts research and conservation efforts for birds of concern in northern California. His talk will cover population status and ecology of Yellow-billed Magpies in the Sacramento Region.
