A free hands-on educational workshop for the pubic will be hosted by the Mother Lode Bonsai Club on Saturday, April 6. The meeting starts at 10 a .m. with the workshop immediately following. Location is the San Andreas Central Library, 1299 Gold Hunter Road (off Mountain Ranch Road) in San Andreas.
Trees, including nursery stock, should be provided by participants for the workshop. Repotting, styling and pruning ides will be suggested by experienced club mentors. All are encouraged to bring their tools, table covering nd soil mix if available. Individuals with an interest in bonsai regardless of levels of experience are encouraged to attend, observe and inquire about this living artform.
A raffle will be held for bonsai materials and members will also have trees available for purchased.
