Winter Stuff the Bus
Date(s) - 12/08/2019
9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Jamestown Family Resource Center and Resiliency Village Partner For Winter Stuff The Bus.
Winter brings challenges for those without adequate shelter and clothing. The “Stuff the Bus” project gives our community the opportunity to support people in need by providing the necessities required for comfort and survival.
How does it work? A bus will park in front of the Sonora WalMart on Sunday December 8 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Volunteers will hand out a list of needed items to anyone interested in participating. After shopping, people can drop off their contributions for storage in the bus. Distribution of donated items with happen with the assistance of the Jamestown Family Resource Center and Resiliency Village at local parks and other identified locations.
Please consider giving the following:
Jackets * Sweaters * Rubber boots
Hats and beanies * Leggings * Warm socks
Tarps * Blankets * Sleeping bags * Sleeping pads * Tents
Hand warmers * Personal hygiene items
Flashlights * Batteries * Instant food stuff
