The UCCE Tuolumne County Master Gardeners will host a presentation by Mary Campbell of The Garden Company in Sonora at their General Meeting on Tuesday, November 5th, beginning at 5pm at the Senior Center, 540 Greenley Road, Sonora. Her presentation will be on “Propagating Natives.” Mary will guide us through native plant propagation from seeds to hardwood cuttings and pruning native plants. She will demonstrate practical applications and assist those who wish to try their hand at hardwood cuttings. Mary’s philosophy for gardeners is “Garden Where You Are…” by growing plants particularly suited to the foothills of the Sierra Nevada with cold, wet winters, long, hot and dry summers and abundant wildlife who don’t appreciate the aesthetics of a beautiful garden.
The public is welcome to attend the free presentation.
