The Tuolumne Dachshund Derby will take place on Sunday May 1st at West Side Memorial Park in downtown Tuolumne City. The registration for the wiener dogs runs from 10 AM through 11:30 for just $5 per entry. The races start at Noon. There will be Derby hat contests, raffles, hot dogs, popcorn, sodas and chips. This is a fundraiser for Friends of the Animal Community.
