Michael Ghiorso (local retired pharmacist) will be sharing stories about his father Pete Ghiorso and the collection of gold specimens he father and cousin John assembled in the 1930’s. Two choice specimens are now in the Smithsonian. The Tuolumne County Historical Program is free to the public.
