Thea Sonntag Harris will be the speaker on Thursday May 9, 2019 at the 7PM monthly meeting of the Tuolumne County Historical Society. Thea is the daughter of Viola Siebe Sonntag and will be sharing information about her mothers life, ties to the county, and experience as an artist. Many prints of her local art sketches will be at the meeting.
Thea is a past president of the Turlock Historical Society, is the author of Images of America Turlock, CA 1800-1950 and Turlock CA A Pictorial History 1950-2005. Thea attended local schools and graduated from Sonora High class of 1966.
The program is open and free to the public.
