7/30/22 Come join the Tuolumne County Special Olympics Raven’s as they play softball against friends and family at Standard Park Merlo Field Sports Complex on Tuolumne Road. Athletes arrive at 8:30am followed by opening ceremonies at 9:30am. This year Calaveras County and Stanislaus County Special Olympic Athletes / Friends and Family will also attend and play ball. Concession stand is open.
The event is geared towards a fun filled day of celebrating our Special Olympics athletes and their families while playing ball, eating good food in a friendly and slightly competitive atmosphere.
Non Special Olympics Athletes are to bring their own gear if possible. If anyone wants more information or wants to become a Coach/Volunteer or has an athletes they wish to enroll in Special Olympics, please contact Debi Fox at 209-499-7220.
Currently Tuolumne County Special Olympics athletes are 100 strong and growing. They participate in up to 11 different sports year round.
We wish to continually say THANKS to our local businesses, friends and families that support Special Olympics and make these events possible.
Also a HUGE shout out of thanks to our 1st Responders and LETR who also continue to support us and keep our community safe.
