The Sonora Fire Department will be kicking off their annual toy drive on Friday November 23, 2018 in front of Walmart. Firefighters will be out accepting donations of new unwrapped toys and gift cards from 7:00 A.M. until noon. Proceeds from the toy drive will benefit the Mountain Women’s Resource Center Domestic Violence Shelter for Women and Children, Community Christmas Celebration at the Fair Grounds, and other local charities.
Donations will also be accepted in our barrels at the following locations starting on November 26: Sonora City Hall, Sonora Fire Department, Sierra Motors, Regal Cinema 10, and Perko’s Cafe. If you have any questions, please contact the Sonora Fire Department at 532-7432.
