Tuolumne County Trailhead members are crossing our fingers for a winter wonderland and good conditions for snowshoeing at Pinecrest Lake. If the snow is gone, we’ll hike to Catfish Lake, east of Pinecrest Lake. Bring your own snowshoes (borrow from friends or rent from Sierra Nevada Adventure Co. or Heidi’s) and ski/hiking poles. Also bring water and/or a thermos of a cozy, hot drink, trail snacks/lunch. To RSVP and receive meet-up instructions, go to the “Contact Us” page at kaad-lp.org. Refer to TCT in the subject line. The Tuolumne County Trailhead program airs on KAAD-LP 103.5 FM on second and fourth weekends at 12:30pm; hikes are monthly on first Saturdays.
