Appreciate the beauty of the Stanislaus National Forest from a different perspective. Forest Rangers will share information about the natural history and cultural history of the area as you snowshoe along the path. Bring a pair of snowshoes and poles for balance. Snowshoes can be rented along Highway 108. Wear warm snow jacket, snow pants, hat, and bring water and a snack. All Ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
This is athletic sport at high elevation so you will get a nice workout. Bring water and a snack. If you have never snowshoed before no problem. We will help you get started! If you want to bring your well behaved doggo, they are welcome, please keep them on a 6′ leash and bring them water. This program is recommended for ages 8 and up.
