Sierra Waldorf School will host an online auction and drive-thru experience at its Jamestown campus. The silent auction will be online from April 1 through 16 (visit sierrawaldorf.com for the link). Auction items include gift certificates, local wine, fine art and photography, handmade jewelry and even a magical gnome treehouse.

The drive-thru experience – with a theme of “The Unsinkable SWS: A Tale of Wit, Wonder and Will” – will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at the school, 19234 Rawhide Rd. To-go lasagna dinners (catered by Lila & Sage in Murphys) are available to pre-order, along with cocktail mixers, until April 11. Meals and drinks will be available for pick-up at the drive-thru event.

A virtual live auction hosted by SWS alumni will be streamed online that evening at 8 p.m. Live auction items include getaways to Groveland and the Central Coast. Columbia-based artist Chuck Waldman has donated his plein-air oil painting of the historic Rawhide Schoolhouse, which is serving as this year’s eighth grade classroom.

SWS is a private K-8 school that combines a curriculum rich in the arts with stimulating academics in the beautiful Rawhide Valley. For more information, visit sierrawaldorf.com or call (209) 984-0454.
