To kick-off Red Ribbon Week this year, Tuolumne County Public Health’s Tobacco Control Program will be hosting a Facebook Live event to discuss youth substance use prevention! During this livestream, a panel of local agencies and the Stanford REACH Lab will talk through vaping and drug use issues that affect the local community. All community members interested in preventing and learning about youth substance use are invited.

Tobacco use is the largest single cause of preventable death in America. The Tuolumne County Public Health Tobacco Control Program celebrates Red Ribbon Week each year to prevent tobacco and drug usage among the youth in our community. This year’s theme is “Be kind to your mind” to emphasize our ability to make positive choices to live a happy and healthy life.
