Free G.O.T.V. Band Jam with King Hippo. Neighborhood Sound & Called to Wake for Gen Z Voters & First-Time Voters. This FREE event is presented by “Pebbles in a Pond: The Rippling Effect of Democracy,” a grant initiative to encourage voter participation through involvement in the arts. Created and produced by storyteller and community arts advocate BZ Smith, who will “spice up” the show with storytelling & audience participation games. Let’s have fun getting Youth Voters registered & engaged in our democracy! Voter registrars will be on hand to get 16 & 17 year olds pre-registered, plus get young adults registered and ready for March 5th primary election. Sponsored by the California Arts Council & its Heartland Creative Corps, Tuolumne County Arts, United Way of Merced County with help from local donors.
