Old West Fest events at Sonora United Methodist Church

During Sonora’s Old West Fest on Saturday, May 18, 2019, the Sonora United Methodist Church will provide free Lemonade and Coffee from 10:30 to 4 pm. Homemade baked cookies, cakes and pies will be offered for sale.

An old fashioned Gospel Hymn Sing will take place in the church sanctuary at 1:30 pm and tours of the historic church will be given throughout the day. The church has been on the site since 1852 and the current building dates from 1922 and has many fine stained glass windows. The kitchen and fellowship hall were dug out and built under the church years after the church was constructed.

The church is located at 90 Yaney Ave. in Sonora, diagonally across the street from the Tuolumne County Courthouse.  Parking is located behind the church on Upper Sunset Ave.  For more information go to the church website www.sonora-umc.org
