TUOLUMNE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE TO ATTEND
COMMUNITY EVENTS ON NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

On Tuesday, August 1st, deputies with the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office will be attending three National Night Out events sponsored by the community. This will give the community an opportunity to meet and talk with deputies, and it will also be a great opportunity for children to meet and interact with the deputies.
National Night Out is held across the nation each year on the first Tuesday in August, and this year marks the 34th year of National Night Out. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out also enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and providing a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
The three Tuolumne County events will each be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the following locations:
• Groveland: Mary Laveroni Park, Main Street/Highway 120
• Sonora: Indigeny Reserve, 14679 Summers Lane
• Twain Harte: Eproson Park, Meadow Drive
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office invite the community to join them at one of these events, and they look forward to meeting with everyone.
