Mountain Youth and Community Theatre presents “Play On!” by Rick Abbot. Play On! is a comedy and a community production with performers aged 16 and up. It tells the story of a small-town theater group attempting to produce a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty author who keeps revising the script. The play is filled with constant mishaps, missed cues, forgotten lines, and collapsing scenery. The director, stage manager, actors, and crew members all do their best to keep the show going despite the chaos, resulting in a witty and light-hearted production.
